Moving is a pain in the ass. You need to forward your mail, learn a new Internet access code at the local coffee shop, and fill up another drawer of menus for restaurants that you’ll never order from. So I can only imagine the headache that it must be to move the All Good Music Festival & Campout (July 19-22, 2012) from West Virginia to a new home in Ohio.
So even though there’s that huge change, you wouldn’t know it from the lineup. The Allman Brothers, Phil Lesh, The Flaming Lips, Bob Weir & Bruce Hornsby, Yonder Mountain String Band, Lotus, Dark Star Orchestra, Galactic, and Big Gigantic top the bill for this year’s festival. See the full daily lineup and schedule right here.
For those of you unfamiliar with All Good, the iconic fest has spent the last nine years perched on top of Marvin’s Mountaintop in West Virginia hosting just about every notable jam band during their tenure. But factors like an overeager polic force, a hostile town, and a traffic chokepoint that caused hour long jams forced organizers to switch venues. The legendary All Good will this year take place at the aptly named Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio. Check out this insighful interview with All Good organizer, Tim Walther, over at Headstash.
