It’s a new week, a new month, and a whole new look for the Music Festival Junkies. We launched our new website over the weekend so please excuse any bugs as we continue to roll out the latest version (our third in the last five years). In the meantime, festivals are kicking off Monday morning with lots of teasers and initial lineups so let’s get to it.
Ultra dropped another lineup bomb announcing the second massive chunk of artists added to this year’s bill (March 28-30, 2014).
The Squamish Valley Music Festival (August 9-10, 2014) returns for their fifth year dropping a lineup that with Eminem, Bruno Mars, and Arcade Fire as headliners.
The Gasparilla Music Festival (March 8-9, 2014) has dropped their daily lineup. Festival stalwarts The Flaming Lips will headline Saturday along with the ever popular Trombone Shorty.
The financially troubled BottleRock will return again to California’s Napa Valley.
Dates have been scheduled for May 23-25, 2014, once again at the City Hall Plaza. The third Boston Calling will be curated by Aaron Dessner of the National.
The largest music festival in Serbia, the EXIT Festival, is starting to drop names for the 15th anniversary blowout.
The Wanee Music Festival is celebrating their 10th anniversary with Trey Anastasio Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Gov’t Mule and will be hosted by The Allman Brothers Band.

The CounterPoint Music & Arts Festival (April 25-17, 2014) has dropped this year’s lineup. Headlining the festival this spring is Outkast, who is returning home for their first show in Georgia in over 10 years.
