Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay — The 2011 Lollapalooza Lineup is Here!

The Foo Fighters bring their mellow jam band sound to Chicago this year

The Interwebs have gone aflutter with the announcement of the 2011 Lollapalooza Festival lineup. The rumors about the major headliners — Eminem, Foo Fighters, and Coldplay — appear to be dead on. Not that it’s difficult this season to predict artists. If Coldplay has a open weekend in their schedule and a massive festival is scheduled, odds are they’ll be playing.

It’s the second tier that’s more exciting to us. Ween! The Cars! And like most of the biggie fests, there’s something sure to ring your clock like Sleigh Bells, Grace Potter, Best Coast, Lykke Li, and Ryan Bingham. If you’re unfamiliar with those names, swing over to Junkie TV to see some videos from those artists.

Tickets are $215 for a three day pass. No word on single day. The fest takes place August 5-7 in Chicago.
