A short while ago Furthur announced that it would not appear at BottleRock Napa Valley on Thursday, May 9. A statement on Bob Weir ‘s website has confirmed, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Furthur regretfully will be unable to appear as scheduled at BottleRock Napa Valley on Thursday, May 9. Grateful Dead & Furthur Co-Founder Bob Weir, is unable to perform in any capacity for the next several weeks. Bob looks forward to resuming his “Weir Here” broadcasts from TRI Studios in mid to late June and performing his Solo acoustic shows June 26-30.”
Hope Bob feels better soon! Although we will miss his performance, Bottle Rock Napa Valley will still be a blast!
This festival was a complete rip off. $130 for a day pass + $30 parking. $13 on average for an average wine glass, $15 for cold ‘off the grill’ sandwiches. I felt like a tourist being screwed left and right.
Sound was good, bands put on a good show, but this was not worth the money.
