why Mr A kelley never performs at essence is a puzzle to me as he is one of the best writers and musical genius ever and is never at the show I’ve been attending for at 6 to 7 times but would be estatic if he was performing .

I am in aggrenace with others we need to know in advance who is performing, what night and what stage. This is extremely important on how we plan our trip and based on the way we purchase tickets (i.e. either all three nights or just 2. Please consider this for future events. Also I have read the previous post and I see that others are expecting the same as well.

I would love to see more old school artist on the main stage.Patti Labelle, Chilites, Gladys, Manhattans,Midnight Star etc

I’ve gone to 16 of the emf. I love it, I wonder why they won’t put Mint Condition on the main stage, the lines are sooooo long tripling around the escalators not a good thing. They even tried giving them several sets, hello that should have been a red flag/flashlight on their fanfare.

Would like to know the 2013 line for essence festival. Attended 2012, and it was a blast. We went to the free concert on Sunday extremely awesome gospel line up.
