We know. It’s still the dead middle of summer, but the festivals never stop coming here at Music Festival Junkies. With full fest saturation on the horizon, organizers are trying harder than ever to get out ahead of the herd by announcing early dates for 2015. This week we take a look at some of the newer entries to the MFJ calendar.

You may already be too late for some of the winter cruises, but they all have waiting lists available. We’re paying close attention to Holy Ship! which is pulling a Coachella style double-duty cruise during two different months which could change the dynamic of the festival cruise scene. Spring festivals held traditionally at the same time (Movement, NXNE, Old Settler’s) are already staking their claim as well. WE Fest hasn’t even happened yet this year, but the rowdy country festival has already marked out dates for 2015.

Quick Note: We try to never post dates on Music Festival Junkies unless we see it via an official website, press release, or official social media outfit so that’s why you might not see your favorite fest on here…yet. Also, we spent most of the 4th of July weekend drinking at the rodeo instead of updating the guide. As always, send your tips, corrections, and tirades here.
