It’s no surprise that the gang here at Music Festival Junkies are big fans of the ski area music festival — I’m writing this from our headquarters in Big Sky, Montana. So we’re always pumped when another bright and shiny fest is added to the spring skiing calendar. Whaleback, in central New Hampshire, has announced the LIFT Festival will ride on March 16-17, 2012. Ghostland Observatory, Paper Diamond, Danger, Conspirator, AIMES, McLovins, Orchard Lounge, and Break Science will providing the grooves.
Festival tickets are running $150 for the weekend which also includes a lift pass which begs the question — how tired are you going to be from riding all day and dancing all night? Oh right, we almost forgot that Saturday is also St. Patrick’s Day.
Whaleback is a true family New England mountain, so strap on some boards and support your local ski hill.
