First thing to know about the debut Tortuga Music Festival — it’s not on a Caribbean island. It’s in Fort Lauderdale. According to this report from The Boot, the first year festival will feature Eli Young Band, Gary Allan, the Avett Brothers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, G. Love and Special Sauce, Kip Moore, Gary Clark Jr., and Sister Hazel.
It’s sponsored by Rock The Ocean, a non-profit still in the early stages according to their Facebook page.
