Outside Lands goes off August 10-12, 2012 in Golden Gate Park.
Outside Lands Music Festival, one of the last major fests to announce dates, has picked August 10-12, 2012 for this year’s shindig in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. A limited number of early bird tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 16th, at noon PST. Outside Lands tickets will run $165 for the three day show.
Outside Lands also spruced up the website as well. Not much more information than the dates and ticket prices. Here’s what official Outside Lands mascot Ranger Dave has to say about the upcoming festival:
It’s never too early to start making predictions on a lineup. Phish? Red Hot Chili Peppers? Radiohead? Who do you think will play the fifth anniversary of Outside Lands.
hmmm… Radiohead is playing in Japan two weeks before Outside Lands. Seems silly for them not to stop in San Fran on the way home. Could definitely see the Chili Peppers Californicating there this year too. Hopefuls: My Morning Jacket, Further, Black Crowes (or at least a Robinson Brother), SCI, and of course Warren Haynes on his own or with one of his many bands.
Chris Robinson is touring around this summer the Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Could be a possibility.
Phishing radiohead and further already came to osl. It would be unlikely to see them in the lineup again but it would be fun for them to come back.
