The Killers and Queens of the Stone Age continue to fill in the gaps in their 2013 summer festival schedule. The latest entry is the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (or FIB for short) in Spain from July 18-21, 2013. Also added to the lineup: Azealia Banks, Jake Bugg, Palma Violets, Echo Lake, Splashh, and Swim Deep.
Like more than a few festival posters, I’m a bit confused by the theme. There’s a UFO dropping off an alien next to a Benicàssim sign done up Las Vegas style. And like more than a few festivals, I’m always interested in a beachside fest, especially one that advertises four days of music and eight (not a typo) days of camping.
