#1 Spot: O Canada! This Montreal festival saw a huge upswing in searches during March right before their lineup announcement and became the first Canadian fest to reach the coveted top ranking in the MFJ 50.

#5, #7, #13, #15, #19 Spots: New York City festivals, which have been quiet over the last few months, now dominate the top 20. We love you too NYC. See all the festivals in New York here.

#14 Spot: The legendary Vans Warped Tour kicks off another season this summer. The first stop: Breaking into the top 20 on the MFJ 50 and then it’s off to party mecca Utah on June 16th.

#20 Spot: Skrillex heads up this massive electronic dance festival in upstate New York. Camp Bisco also made our list for Top 10 Camping Music Festivals.

#24 Spot: Hands down, one of the wackiest lineups of the summer. Creed, Foreigner, Snoop Dogg, Counting Crows, Third Eye Blind. And that’s just for starters.

#29 Spot: It’s punk rock. It’s Chicago. It’s got the word “blackout” in the title. What’s not to love?

#33 Spot: This new Cincinnati festival was announced just over a month ago and instantly jumped into the MFJ 50. It’s just another highlight of Ohio’s killer festival season.

#38 Spot: Hey, did you hear that Metallica is throwing a music festival in Atlantic City?

#43 Spot: Fun fact — Rites of Spring was started in 1971 as a way for Nashville’s Vanderbilt University to interact with the local community.

#42, #46, #47 Spots: The yoga-centric Wanderlust twisted itself into three spots on the MFJ 50 this month.[/one_half] Music Festivals Trending Upwards This Month on the MFJ 50

Born during a sweaty, backstage, Bonnaroo downpour, the Chief Festival Junkie's mission in life is to dance, write, and travel to every great festival that this wide world has to offer. While his identity remains a mystery, you may have already met him, probably when he helped himself to your party favors.
