The Governor’s Ball Music Festival announced that the New York City fest will expand to three days. The additional day of music on Friday will now stretch Governor’s Ball from Friday, June 7, to Sunday, June 9, 2013. They’re also dropping the whole different day-different genre style (which we liked!).
The festival, which started out on Governor’s Island (hence the name) will be once again at Randall’s Island on the Hudson. We attended last year at the new venue and couldn’t have been more impressed with the ease of public transit.
Tickets: Holiday Pre-Sale Tickets Available on Fri, Dec 14th at 11am EST HERE. Only a very limited quantity of pre-sale tickets will be available, so mark your calendar. Three day GA tickets will run you about $175.
