TREASURE ISLAND PRE-PARTY AT THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

We’re kicking things off early this year with a Treasure Island pre-party…on Thursday night! It’s taking place at California Academy of Sciences and fellow Treasure Island performer Wallpaper will give us a taste of what they’ll be bringing to the big stage in October. There will also be a set by one of our new favorite local bands, The Downer Party.

THE TREASURE HUNT RETURNS

Yarrr mateys! The Treasure Island Music Festival, along with The Bold Italic, is bringing back the Treasure Hunt for all you scallywags on Saturday, September 11th. Pick your best mate and sign up as teams of two for a chance to win tickets to the festival as well as other fine treasures. Prepare yourselves for an epic voyage through the streets of San Francisco where you will seek out challenges along the way. Afterwards, you must find the final spot where all the pirates will gather for drinks and some “Yo Ho Ho’s” while we tally up the scores. So find a trusty teammate and send us your names, emails and phone numbers to treasurehunt@noisepop.com. We’ll take the first 75 teams to apply.

Note: You must be 21 and up to participate.

TREASURE ISLAND T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Treasure Island Music Festival is hosting a contest for all those talented designers in our audience. Take our Treasure Island Music Festival logo and incorporate it into an original t-shirt design. Winners get a bounty of goodies: your shirt will be made into official festival merchandise, a pair of tickets to the festival, 6 of your own t-shirts, and your name mentioned on the Treasure Island website and newsletter.
