This festival is an embarrassment. We were invited up from NYC, and were booked to perform in an empty hotel lounge. The preceding and following acts consisted of a single person singing along with backing tracks that already had vocals on them, much like one would do along with the radio on their morning commute. No backline, and we were on our own for power strips and extension cords. They should change their name to Utica Amateur Karaoke Festival.
