Jay-Z Replaces Beasties at All Points West
All Points West just announced in a press release that Jay-Z will be headlining the July 31st show
In a precedent-setting move for American music festivals, ALL POINTS WEST MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL organizers have just confirmed the U.S. festival debut of JAY-Z. The hip-hop superstar and pop culture icon will take over the headlining slot for the opening night (Friday, July 31) of the critically acclaimed annual event.
Jay-Z replaces The Beastie Boys, who were forced to cancel when Adam Yauch was diagnosed with throat cancer. All Points West takes place in Jersey City on July 31st-Aug 2nd. Other headliners include Tool and Coldplay. Check out the full lineup here.
